Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender for the Swing Shift at their Chilco location in Idaho. This role involves operating a yard truck to manage the flow of residual materials into trailers while ensuring compliance with safety and DOT regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Control and maintain residual flow from bins to trailers
  • Operate a yard truck to reposition trailers within the yard
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Release residuals into trailers using controls
  • Stage trailers for easy pickup
  • Report maintenance issues as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Flexibility to work swing shifts and overtime as needed
  • Ability to adapt to various weather conditions and industrial environments
