Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to efficiently control and maintain the flow of residuals from bins to trailers, primarily using a yard truck. The position involves various responsibilities including loading and unloading trailers while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a yard truck to reposition trailers for loading/unloading
  • Control the release of residuals into trailers
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area
  • Stage trailers for efficient pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the mechanic shop
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Adaptability to various weather conditions and loud environments
  • Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test and physical
  • Manual labor capabilities
