Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to manage the efficient flow of residuals from bins to trailers at their facility in Chilco, ID. This role involves operating a yard truck, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining a clean work area while managing trailer loading and unloading.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a yard truck to reposition trailers for loading and unloading
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Perform cleanup during and after shift
  • Stage trailers to facilitate ease of pickup
  • Report maintenance problems to the Mechanic Shop and Maintenance Department
  • Operate controls to release residuals into trailers
  • Adapt to varying weather and working conditions

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to perform shift work and adjust work schedule
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive movements and work in a loud environment
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
