Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to manage the flow of residual materials from bins to trailers efficiently. This role requires operating yard trucks for trailer repositioning and maintaining safety compliance in a busy industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Control and maintain residual flow from bins to trailers
  • Operate yard trucks to reposition trailers for loading or unloading
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Stage trailers for ease of pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the Mechanic Shop
  • Keep work area clean during and after shifts
  • Perform all other assigned duties

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to understand and follow printed instructions
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
  • Adaptability to shift work and varying weather conditions
