Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to efficiently manage the flow of residual materials from bins to trailers at their facility in Cheney, Washington. This role involves operating a yard truck to reposition trailers, ensure safe loading/unloading, and maintain a clean work environment, all while adhering to safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a yard truck to reposition trailers for loading and unloading
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area during and after the shift
  • Release residuals into trailers using control systems
  • Stage trailers for ease of pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the Mechanic Shop
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and loud environments
  • Pass pre-employment screenings including drug test and physical
