Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to manage the flow of wood chips from bins to trailers. The position involves operating a yard truck to reposition trailers and ensure the efficient transfer of residuals while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Control and maintain residual flow from bins to trailers
  • Operate a yard truck to reposition trailers for loading and unloading
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Stage trailers to facilitate pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the Mechanic Shop
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Strong time management and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to various weather conditions and industrial environments
