Overview

Manuel Builders LLC is looking for an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of high-quality homes in the Livingston - St Tammany Parish area. This role involves managing subcontractors, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with specifications while maintaining quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work
  • Monitor construction budgets and review costs throughout projects
  • Approve vendor invoices and ensure trade partner accountability
  • Consult with architects and owners on design changes and issue resolution
  • Deliver homes on or ahead of schedule using scheduling software
  • Conduct and document job site inspections at all construction phases
  • Complete customer walk-throughs within one week of completion
  • Follow checklists for inspections and quality control
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners
  • Provide regular updates on project progress
  • Anticipate and resolve customer issues proactively
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
  • Enforce company policies and standards for safety and workmanship

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in residential or new home construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes
  • Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in custom or semi-custom homebuilding
  • Must live in the build zone
