Job Description

Overview

The Residential Property Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, for properties in Baltimore County, Maryland. This role involves managing the site team, ensuring high service standards, and conducting preventative maintenance while supporting operational goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Manager in training and managing the service team
  • Oversee capital improvement projects
  • Inspect properties as part of preventative maintenance program
  • Organize and delegate tasks for service staff
  • Maintain communication between service and leasing staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations for service staff
  • Ensure timely response to service orders
  • Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain and secure the maintenance shop
  • Perform snow removal and winter weather preparations

Required skills

  • Extensive knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software
  • Experience with Yardi Systems
  • Experience with ADP Payroll
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Management and supervisory skills
  • HVAC certification
  • 3 years of maintenance and supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license

  • Pay rate starting at $26/hr to $30/hr based on experience
