Overview

The Residential Maintenance Technician at Midland Management LLC is tasked with overseeing the maintenance and repair of residential properties. This role involves ensuring that all building systems, utilities, and appliances are functioning efficiently and safely, while also addressing tenant concerns and conducting regular inspections.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment, appliances, and fixtures
  • Troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, or HVAC units
  • Fix leaks, unclog drains, and maintain water supply systems
  • Repair or replace light fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers
  • Maintain and repair heating and cooling systems, including replacing air filters
  • Conduct minor structural repairs such as fixing walls, floors, and doors
  • Communicate effectively with tenants to address maintenance concerns
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ordering parts as necessary
  • Adhere to safety protocols and keep up to date with building codes
