Job Description Job Description The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently recruiting a full-time graveyard and part-time evening Residential Life Assistants. Will be required to provide individual and group guidance services related to scholastic, educational, personal hygiene and social skill development to students who are blind/visually impaired, with/without other impairments. Full-time nine-month graveyard position: 11:15 pm to 7:15 am Sunday night through Friday morning. Part-time nine-month evening position: 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm Sunday through Thursday evening. Graveyard shift provides vigilant supervision and assists with morning hygiene. Evening position will be required to become Braille proficient. Must remain awake for all shifts. Today, the residential campus is still located on the original site in Alamogordo with a second campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico that houses an Early Childhood Program as well as the school's statewide services.
