Overview

As a Residential Installation & Service Technician at Comcast, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential voice, video, and internet services. This entry-level field role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to customer connectivity. You will undergo paid training and certification, working closely with customers to ensure a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects.
  • Complete service calls by diagnosing and resolving network issues.
  • Install and support home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi technology.
  • Verify service quality and make necessary adjustments.
  • Educate customers on products, services, and equipment usage.
  • Document completed work and update customer accounts accurately.
  • Maintain and stock assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment.
  • Safely operate ladders, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Conduct work in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
  • Meet established performance and safety standards.
