Overview

Comcast is seeking a Residential Installation & Service Technician in South Burlington, Vermont, responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting for voice, video, and data services. This entry-level role involves performing field assessments, meeting company standards, and achieving necessary certifications. Technicians will work primarily in a customer-facing capacity to ensure the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform installations and service changes adhering to safety and code requirements.
  • Conduct troubleshooting from tap to customer's equipment.
  • Design basic home networks based on customer needs.
  • Complete timely record keeping for customer accounts.
  • Ensure quality service by conducting applicable tests and making necessary adjustments.
  • Educate customers on products and services.
  • Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment.
  • Operate installation tools and technology safely.
  • Complete required training and pass certifications within specified timeframes.
  • Work in various weather conditions and manage a flexible schedule.
