Overview

Southeast Elevator Inc is looking for an experienced Residential Elevator Mechanic to join their installation team in Morehead City, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel throughout the eastern North Carolina region to install various types of elevators and lifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Install various types of elevators and lifts
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Utilize troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical and electronic skills
  • Travel regularly within the service area
  • Lift up to 150 lbs
  • Maintain a clean driving record

Required skills

  • Mechanical skills
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with electronic, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, PLCs, and DC control circuits (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License
