Overview

Two Guys Plumbing Heating & Cool is seeking a skilled residential electrician helper for new construction wiring. The ideal candidate will work on-site alongside builders and other trades, ensuring the installation of electrical systems is safe and compliant with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Install electrical wiring, outlets, and fixtures in new residential construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and specifications
  • Run secure NM cable and conduit according to NEC and local codes
  • Install and wire electrical panels and breakers
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper system functionality
  • Follow all safety standards and job site regulations
  • Coordinate with contractors, builders, and inspectors as needed

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a residential electrician in new construction
  • Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
  • Experience with rough wiring, panel installation, and trim-out work
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and safety practices
