Overview

Parker & Sons is seeking Residential Electricians to deliver top-notch customer service while providing general electrical repair and services. With a focus on quality work and compliance with local and national codes, the role emphasizes accurate troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintaining customer loyalty. The company has been a trusted service provider in the area for over 40 years.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
  • Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
  • Maintain a clean working area to increase customer loyalty
  • Educate customers on appropriate upgrades for immediate or scheduled completion
  • Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
  • Document work completed with before and after photos
  • Demonstrate safe working practices and methods
  • Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years residential electrical wiring, repair, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform quality control testing
  • Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in various settings
  • Detail oriented with good time management skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver at least 75 pounds
  • Experience working in outside elements and on ladders/roofs
