Overview

Property Management, Inc. (PMI) is seeking a full-time Residential Compliance Specialist to join their Affordable Residential Division in Camp Hill, PA. This role involves ensuring compliance with housing regulations and supporting property management teams while working for a stable, employee-owned company with over 55 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and approve applicant eligibility for affordable housing programs.
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and other regulations.
  • Conduct file audits for various housing processes.
  • Provide guidance and training to property staff on compliance procedures.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and investors.
  • Assist with affordable housing helpdesk inquiries.
  • Communicate compliance expectations to property management teams.
  • Stay current on affordable housing regulations and update policies as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant and resident information.
  • Travel to properties to provide on-site assistance and staff training.

Required skills

  • 2-3 years' experience in multi-family residential subsidized/affordable housing
  • Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, HOME, RD, or other affordable housing programs
  • Certification for Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) preferred
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Valid PA Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma/GED
