Overview

The Residential Advisor - Prime Shift at Career Systems Development Corporation provides a safe and supportive atmosphere for students in the dormitory. This role involves conducting dormitory operations, supervising students, and assisting with their adjustment to campus life.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor students in personal hygiene and daily activities
  • Provide informal counseling related to stress management and personal problems
  • Document student records and input data into the Career Information System
  • Conduct bed checks and maintain safety and security in the dormitory
  • Facilitate life skills groups and discussions including budgeting and conflict resolution
  • Participate in individual meetings with students monthly
  • Ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards in the dormitory
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings
