Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing plays an essential role in managing administrative and reservation functions within the Reservations Department. This full-time, year-round position involves serving customers through various channels, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring efficient communication to enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the reservations department
  • Provide information on products and services to customers
  • Maintain and update guest profiles and reservation details
  • Handle extensive guest correspondence via phone and email
  • Process payments and manage cash out reports
  • Follow up with guests regarding bookings and credits
  • Assist in crisis management and emergency response planning
  • Participate in seasonal follow-up communication and rebooking efforts

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service and reservations
  • Certificate or diploma in a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with booking software, CRM software, and Microsoft Teams and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of German is an asset
  • Dynamic and energetic personality with strong interpersonal skills
