Job Description

Overview

As a Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, you will play a vital role in managing the reservations process while delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time, year-round position is based in Blue River, BC, where you will engage with customers across various communication channels and manage guest data efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve customers via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and requests.
  • Maintain the guest database by updating profiles and adding notes.
  • Ensure accurate guest reservations including package details and special requests.
  • Participate in guest correspondence and follow-ups.
  • Process payments and maintain cash reports.
  • Conduct follow-ups post-departure to encourage re-bookings and gather feedback.
  • Manage liability waivers prior to guest arrivals.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating reservations computer systems.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years experience in customer service and reservations.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with resort booking software and customer relationship management software.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and diverse environment.
