Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for managing administrative and reservations functions within the Reservations Department. This full-time, year-round position entails serving customers through various communication channels, ensuring smooth operation of guest bookings and inquiries, and maintaining accurate guest data.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and bookings via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accurate guest reservations, including dates, package details, and special requests.
  • Assist with weekly reports and manage guest communication timely.
  • Process payments and manage reservation discounts.
  • Follow up with guests regarding re-bookings and outstanding credits.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and ensure authorized communication.
  • Maintain reservation computer modules and databases.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with resort booking software and customer relationship management systems.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge of a second language, preferably German, is an asset.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality.
