Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is an essential role responsible for managing administrative and reservations tasks within the Reservations Department. This position involves serving customers through various communication channels, handling booking inquiries, and maintaining guest data to ensure exceptional customer service in a dynamic and outdoor-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day functions of the reservations department
  • Handle guest inquiries and bookings via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain accurate guest reservations and data
  • Assist in updating reservations software and databases
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with guests
  • Receive and post payments, including managing discounts and reminders
  • Conduct follow-ups with guests regarding credits and future bookings
  • Participate in emergency planning and response as necessary

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with resort booking software and Microsoft Teams and Excel
  • Ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bilingual skills in English and preferably German are an asset
  • Dynamic and energetic personality with a passion for skiing
