Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing plays a vital role in managing administrative and reservation-related tasks within the Reservations Department. The position requires excellent customer service skills as the coordinator interacts with guests via phone, email, and in person, handling inquiries, bookings, and communication among relevant parties.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage guest inquiries and reservations via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain and update guest data and profiles in the system.
  • Ensure accuracy in reservations, including details like package type, dates, and pricing.
  • Participate in timely communication and follow-up with guests.
  • Handle payments and make necessary adjustments to reservations.
  • Follow up with guests who have credits on file to encourage bookings.
  • Engage in crisis management and emergency response planning.
  • Support team efforts in maintaining confidentiality and collaboration.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service and reservations
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry principles and sales practices
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in resort booking software and Microsoft Teams and Excel
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and maintain flexibility
  • Knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is an asset
  • Familiarity with the ski industry
