Job Description

Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for managing administrative and reservations functions within the Reservations Department. This role includes serving customers through various communication channels, ensuring guest inquiries and bookings are handled efficiently, and maintaining accurate guest data.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Maintain guest data bank by entering and updating profiles and requests.
  • Ensure accurate guest reservations, including package details and applicable discounts.
  • Assist in maintaining reservations computer systems and databases.
  • Communicate promptly and enthusiastically with guests.
  • Process payments and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Conduct follow-ups with guests regarding re-bookings and feedback.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and crisis management.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service and reservations
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and sales practices
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
  • Proficiency with resort booking software and customer relationship management software
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with guests and partners
  • Knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is an asset
  • Dynamic and energetic personality
