Job Description

Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for administrative and reservations functions within the Reservations Department. This full-time, year-round position requires serving customers through various communication channels and ensuring that guest inquiries, bookings, and requests are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day reservations department functions and activities.
  • Serve customers via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain guest data, including profiles and special requests.
  • Manage and update reservations in relevant software systems.
  • Conduct extensive guest correspondence and follow-ups.
  • Receive and post payments as well as manage end-of-day cash reports.
  • Follow up with guests to encourage rebookings and gather feedback.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and simulations.
  • Anticipate guest needs to enhance their overall experience.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  • Proficiency with resort booking software and CRM software.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Excel.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality.
