Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for administrative and reservations functions within the Reservations Department. This role involves serving customers through various communication channels, managing guest inquiries, bookings, and maintaining accurate guest reservation data while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage guest inquiries and bookings via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Maintain guest data bank by entering and updating guest profiles.
  • Ensure accurate guest reservations and apply discounts correctly.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating reservations software and databases.
  • Participate in timely communication and follow-up with guests.
  • Handle payments and ensure timely reminders are sent for due payments.
  • Conduct follow-ups with guests to encourage bookings and gather feedback.
  • Participate in crisis management and emergency response planning.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of customer service, reservations, and sales experience.
  • Certificate or diploma in a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in resort booking software and CRM software.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Excel.
  • Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an asset.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality.
