Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for handling administrative and customer service functions within the Reservations Department. This includes managing guest inquiries, bookings, and ensuring effective communication throughout the reservation process. The position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and can anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and requests via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain and update guest data and reservations in relevant databases
  • Ensure timely communication with guests and follow up on inquiries
  • Process and post payments, ensuring reservation discounts are applied correctly
  • Follow up with guests regarding potential re-bookings and credits
  • Engage in crisis management and emergency response planning as needed
  • Participate in training and abide by confidentiality guidelines

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service and reservations
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in resort booking software, CRM software, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain relationships with corporate departments and guests
  • Knowledge of the ski industry is an asset
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a preference
