Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for managing administrative and reservations-related functions within the Reservations Department. This role involves serving customers through various channels, maintaining guest records, handling inquiries, and ensuring effective communication flow among all relevant parties.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily functions and activities in the reservations department
  • Serve customers via telephone, email, and in person
  • Maintain accurate guest reservations and data
  • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and requests
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with guests
  • Process payments and manage reservation discounts
  • Follow up with guests regarding credits and rebookings
  • Participate in emergency planning and response

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales
  • Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Experience with resort booking software and CRM systems
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is an asset
  • Understanding of ski industry practices
