Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for administrative and reservations functions within the Reservations Department, ensuring excellent customer service through various communication channels. The role requires management of guest inquiries, bookings, and follow-ups, as well as maintaining accurate guest data and reservations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage administrative and reservations functions in the department
  • Serve customers via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
  • Maintain accurate guest reservations and updates in the database
  • Communicate extensively with guests through various channels
  • Process and post payments, and manage reservation discounts
  • Conduct follow-ups with guests for feedback and rebooking opportunities
  • Participate in emergency response planning and simulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information while working

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service and reservations
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in resort booking software and customer relationship management software
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
  • Dynamic and energetic personality
  • Knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is an asset
  • Ski industry knowledge is beneficial
