Job Description

Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for managing administrative and reservation-related functions within the Reservations Department. This includes serving customers through various communication channels and ensuring that guest inquiries, bookings, and requests are handled promptly and effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and requests via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accuracy of guest reservations and data bank.
  • Assist with communication flow and maintain timely correspondence with guests.
  • Receive and process payments, ensuring correct application of discounts.
  • Follow up with guests for re-bookings and feedback post-visit.
  • Participate in emergency planning and response as part of the team.
  • Act as an information expert regarding products and services offered.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with resort booking software and Microsoft Teams and Excel.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with guests and corporate partners.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality; flexibility in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of a second language, preferably German, is an asset.
