Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for managing administrative and reservations tasks within the Reservations Department. This role involves serving customers through various communication channels and ensuring accurate guest data and reservations are maintained. The position emphasizes excellent customer service and proactive communication to exceed guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and requests via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accurate guest data and reservations, including package details and special requests.
  • Communicate with guests to ensure timely follow-up and satisfaction.
  • Process payments and manage cash out reports.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating reservations software and databases.
  • Participate in crisis management and emergency response planning.
  • Follow up with guests for rebookings and feedback after their stay.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in resort booking software, CRM software, and Microsoft Teams and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of written and spoken English; a second language (preferably German) is an asset.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality with solid interpersonal skills.
