Job Description

Overview

As a Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, you will be responsible for managing administrative and reservation-related functions within the Reservations Department. This full-time, year-round position requires excellent customer service skills and involves directly interacting with guests to handle inquiries, bookings, and requests while ensuring efficient communication flow and maintaining guest data.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations within the reservations department.
  • Respond to guest inquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accurate guest reservations and data, including updating profiles and adding special requests.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating reservation software and databases.
  • Handle payments and ensure correct application of discounts.
  • Conduct follow-ups with guests regarding bookings, credits, and feedback.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and simulations.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with resort booking software and customer relationship management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of German is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and build lasting relationships.
