Overview

As a Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, you will play a vital role in managing administrative and customer service tasks within the Reservations Department. This position requires excellent communication skills as you will assist guests via phone, email, and in person, handling inquiries and bookings to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative and reservations functions in the department.
  • Serve customers through various channels including phone and email.
  • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and requests efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate guest data and reservation details.
  • Participate in communication follow-ups with guests and manage payments.
  • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with different departments to enhance guest experience.
  • Assist in crisis management and emergency planning procedures.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with flexible interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in resort booking software and Microsoft Teams and Excel.
  • Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is an asset.
  • Sales practices knowledge and effective communication skills.
