Job Description

Overview

Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is seeking a Reservations Coordinator to manage administrative and reservations functions within the Reservations Department. This year-round, full-time position involves serving customers through various communication channels, maintaining guest data, and ensuring efficient operation of the reservations process.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and requests via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain accurate guest reservations and data entry into reservation systems
  • Participate in timely guest communication and follow-ups
  • Receive and post payments, manage cash out reports, and send payment reminders
  • Assist in crisis management and emergency planning
  • Follow up with guests regarding credits, rebooking incentives, and feedback
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and competitor activities

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales
  • Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles and customer service best practices
  • Proficiency with resort booking software, customer relationship management software, and Microsoft Teams and Excel
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English; knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is
  • Dynamic and energetic personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and events
