Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is responsible for administrative and reservations-related functions within the Reservations Department. This full-time, year-round position is essential in managing guest inquiries, bookings, and ensuring smooth communication flow to enhance customer service and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations within the reservations department.
  • Handle guest inquiries and bookings via phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • Maintain accurate guest reservations and update guest profiles in the database.
  • Assist in generating weekly reports and maintaining the reservations software.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with guests.
  • Receive and post payments and manage reservation discounts.
  • Follow up with guests regarding credits, feedback, and re-bookings.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and crisis management.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Certificate or diploma in a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and customer service practices.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in resort booking software, CRM software, Microsoft Teams, and Excel.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills; knowledge of German is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and build lasting relationships.
