Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is a full-time, year-round position focused on administrative and reservations-related functions. The role involves serving customers through various communication channels and managing guest inquiries, bookings, and payments while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle guest reservations and inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain and update guest data bank and reservation systems
  • Assist with weekly reports and communications within the Reservations Department
  • Manage end-of-day cash reports and payment processing
  • Conduct follow-ups with guests regarding bookings and feedback
  • Ensure proper application of reservation discounts
  • Participate in emergency planning and response as needed
  • Anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service and reservations
  • Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • High proficiency with resort booking software and Microsoft Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with guests and corporate partners
  • Knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is an asset
  • Dynamic and energetic personality
