Overview

As a Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, you will play a vital role in managing administrative and reservations functions within the Reservations Department. This full-time position, located in Blue River, BC, requires excellent customer service skills to assist guests with inquiries, bookings, and requests, ensuring a seamless communication flow. You will also contribute to maintaining guest data and assist in various reporting tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve customers via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and requests.
  • Maintain and update the guest data bank and reservations database.
  • Ensure accurate guest reservation entries and manage payments.
  • Participate in timely follow-up communication with guests.
  • Handle crisis management and emergency response planning.
  • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, reservations, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in resort booking software and customer relationship management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and diverse environment.
  • Knowledge of a second language (preferably German) is an asset.
