Overview

The Reservations Coordinator at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing plays a crucial role in managing administrative and reservation functions in the Reservations Department. Located in Blue River, BC, this full-time, year-round position involves serving customers through various channels and ensuring smooth communication flow regarding guest inquiries and bookings.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer inquiries and reservations via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain and update the guest data bank with potential and existing guest profiles
  • Ensure accurate guest reservations and apply discounts accordingly
  • Participate in timely communication with guests to exceed expectations
  • Receive and post payments, and manage end-of-day cash out reports
  • Follow up with guests on credits, bookings, and post-departure feedback
  • Participate in emergency response planning and crisis management
  • Anticipate guest needs and enhance customer satisfaction

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service and reservations
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry principles and practices
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with booking software, CRM software, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment and build lasting relationships
  • Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an asset
  • Dynamic personality and ability to respond quickly in a changing environment
