Overview

The Repair Technician at Global Compression Services LLC is responsible for the tear down and rebuild of valves and packing cases to meet OEM standards. This role requires mechanical skills and the ability to follow safety procedures while ensuring quality repairs.

Key responsibilities

  • Tear down and inspect a variety of valves and packing cases
  • Read dial calipers and recommend solutions to meet requirements
  • Operate basic hand tools and a sand blaster
  • Perform basic machining tasks
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and perform maintenance tasks

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years mechanical shop/field experience
  • Mechanical skills
  • Hand tool proficiency
  • Machining knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
  • MS Office and Windows based computer proficiency
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage varied workloads with changing priorities
