Overview

As a Repair Specialist at Safelite in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, you will play a key role in completing vehicle glass repairs using industry-leading technology. This position focuses on delivering high-quality service to customers, fostering a positive work environment by embodying the Safelite Spirit with a can-do attitude and service mindset.

Key responsibilities

  • Learn to repair vehicle glass with guidance from experienced technicians.
  • Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues.
  • Manage work orders, documentation, and customer communication using mobile technology.
  • Promote and sell Safelite promotional items.
  • Clean customer vehicles during repair processes and perform housekeeping tasks.
  • Safely operate company and customer vehicles, along with tools and chemicals.
  • Comply with all company policies and standards.

Required skills

  • Experience in auto glass repair and vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to work in various weather conditions.
