Overview

The Renovation Superintendent at Rose Community Builders will oversee on-site construction activities for the Ashtabula Towers project, focusing on tenant-in-place rehabilitation. This role includes managing schedules, logistics, quality control, safety standards, and subcontractor coordination to ensure minimal disruption for residents and timely project completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site construction activities including schedule, logistics, quality, and safety.
  • Coordinate with property management, subcontractors, and residents to minimize disruption.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time.
  • Communicate field and cost issues to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
  • Enforce safety standards and establish a quality assurance program.
  • Prepare reports including safety inspections and progress photographs.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.

Required skills

  • Understanding of construction sequencing and procedures

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
