Overview

The Senior Software Developer - Automation Tech role at Platinum Resource Group involves designing, developing, and supporting solutions for automation in warehouse management and supply chain innovation. This remote position requires a mix of software engineering, systems analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure system interoperability with various automation technologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications, APIs, and microservices, primarily using Go, with additional development in Python, C#, and Java.
  • Build and optimize relational databases, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
  • Develop front-end components to enable full-stack functionality and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Conduct systems analysis and support automation and enterprise platform integrations.
  • Champion Agile development methodologies and lead practices such as CI/CD.
  • Manage deployments across various server environments and cloud infrastructures.
  • Establish automated monitoring and alerting within DevOps workflows.
  • Align technology solutions with business objectives through stakeholder engagement.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Support system implementations and provide on-call coverage for mission-critical systems.

Required skills
