Overview

IA Recruiting is seeking a skilled Medical Writer for a 6-month remote contract position. The successful candidate will develop high-quality clinical and regulatory documents while collaborating with cross-functional teams in compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and author clinical and regulatory documents such as CSPs, CSRs, IBs, and ICFs
  • Develop and maintain clinical development plans and statistical analysis plans
  • Ensure documents comply with ICH, GCP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of clinical documents with study objectives
  • Review and edit documents for scientific accuracy, clarity, and compliance
  • Manage multiple simultaneous document development projects

Required skills

  • 5 years of experience in medical writing
  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related field
  • Strong background in regulatory writing and clinical trials
  • Medical writing experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry
  • Knowledge of drug development processes and clinical research concepts
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical data interpretation
  • Proficiency in ICH guidelines, GCP, and regulatory submission requirements
  • Experience with document management systems and publishing tools (e.g., EndNote, Adobe Acrobat, Veeva)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
