Overview

Job Summary The Remote Dental Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while managing appointments, patient records, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Manage patient records and ensure information is accurate and up to date. Assist patients with forms, insurance information, and appointment preparation. Coordinate with clinical and administrative team members regarding patient needs. Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans and upcoming visits. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Perform data entry, document management, and other administrative duties as assigned. Provide outstanding customer service that reflects the values of Vista Robles Dental Group. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office, healthcare administration, or customer service preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and scheduling procedures is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and dental practice management software. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training is a plus.
