Job Description

Overview

The Relationship Manager I-III at Fresno First Bank is responsible for developing and managing deposit, loan, and merchant relationships within designated markets. This role focuses on sourcing new business, identifying client needs, and structuring financial solutions while ensuring high client satisfaction throughout the sales lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through outbound calls, emails, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive long-term business.
  • Use CRM systems to track interactions and manage pipeline activity.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of client relationships by identifying financial needs.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Create and deliver effective proposals and RFP responses.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory requirements to support client conversations.
  • Mentor and support junior Relationship Managers.
  • Complete administrative tasks with attention to urgency.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial services.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products and federal compliance regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to cross-sell products with confidence.
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle for travel.
