Description :The Senior Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for various functions and support related to Governmental and Commercial/Managed Care reimbursement evaluation, analysis and financial reporting. Assist with various Cost Reporting to Government Payors and provide various patient and financial reporting and analysis work for leaders, staff and consultants.Senior Reimbursement AnalystEducation: Required: Bachelor Degree in a Business or Related Field Preferred: Master's DegreeExperience: Required: 1 year reimbursement, financial or office related experience. Preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare settingSkills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively with others. Proficient computer skills. Genuine concern for accuracy and attention to detail.Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/AReimbursement AnalystEducation Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare, or a related field or 8 years related experienceExperience Preferred: Demonstrated experience with healthcare or insurance financial analysis.Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively present and interact with all levels of the organization Ability to work collaboratively as either a facilitator or participant on projects that involve multiple stakeholders, while promoting positive and effective working relations Ability to inform and educate others, including training of new staff, on procedures and concepts Ability to write effective summary level documentation for clear and concise communication of data analyzed Ability to create, implement and optimize stakeholder reporting Highly proficient in all aspects of MS Office Highly proficient in Excel with ability to create, modify and trouble-shoot spreadsheets for data analytics. Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze complex data and all type of provider reimbursement. Highly productive in a self-directed manner with ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, track status efficiently, and demonstrate defensible judgement in making independent decisions Effective time management and prioritization skills to permit handling of a large workload across multiple projects and multiple departmentsLicensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
