Overview

Regional Sales Manager requires: • Proven hunter sales profile consistently drives new business and territory growth (not a maintenance/farmer type). • Submersible pump sales experience OR closely related: o Pumps (ideally submersible), and/or o Municipal / industrial slurry applications, and/or o Controls for slurry / industrial pumping environments. • Strong experience selling through distributors/channel partners and directing them toward target accounts and products (not just taking what they give). • Experience in industrial B2B field sales (municipal and/or industrial customers). • Travel requirements: Approximately 75% travel across the Great Lakes region, including frequent overnight travel (typically 2 3 nights per week) and occasional international travel. • Great Lakes region: IN, KY, MI, OH, W-PA, WV, W-NY (field-based) • Channel sales strategy, distributor management, key account planning, electrical submersible pumps, electrical control panels, technical quotations, commercial quotations, outside sales, relationship management, negotiation, presentation skills, MS Office Suite, ERP software, OSHA compliance, HubSpot, CRM Platform • Bachelor's degree preferred. • A minimum of 7+ years of outside sales experience preferably in pumps manufacturing or distributor management. • Experience within municipal and industrial pump markets would be helpful. • Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory, attend industry trade shows, and travel to headquarters in New Haven, CT. • Knowledge of electrical submersible pumps and electrical control panels. • Experience in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM system, including logging call activity, tracking customer interactions, and managing the sales pipeline. • Experience with PowerBI and ERP software preferred. • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, relationship management and negotiating skills. • Bachelor's degree preferred. • A minimum of 7+ years of outside sales experience preferably in pumps manufacturing or distributor management. • Experience within municipal and industrial pump markets would be helpful. • Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory, attend industry trade shows, and travel to headquarters in New Haven, CT. • Knowledge of electrical submersible pumps and electrical control panels. • Experience in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM system, including logging call activity, tracking customer interactions, and managing the sales pipeline. • Experience with PowerBI and ERP software preferred. • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, relationship management and negotiating skills. Duties: • Responsible for achieving or exceeding annual sales and orders growth for assigned region, in line with business revenue growth objectives. • Develop channel sales strategies, key account plans and relationships to deliver on assigned growth tactics for region. • Establish and adhere to annual growth plan, aligned with business growth strategies. • Engage existing channel partners, providing applications knowledge, pricing, and support to execute orders; support channel partners in developing and delivering technical and commercial quotations for their end markets. •
