Job Description

Overview

The Regional Sales Manager will develop and execute channel strategies to drive sales growth within the assigned territory in New Haven, Connecticut. This role involves managing existing channel partners, cultivating relationships, and identifying new partners to ensure consistent revenue and meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales and orders growth for assigned region
  • Develop channel sales strategies and key account plans
  • Establish and adhere to an annual growth plan
  • Engage existing channel partners to provide support and pricing
  • Develop account plans with annual goals for channel partners
  • Identify gaps in regional coverage and engage new channel partners
  • Lead the onboarding of new channel partners
  • Log calls and activities in HubSpot
  • Manage pipeline and track customer interactions in HubSpot

Required skills

  • 7+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in pumps manufacturing or distributor management
  • Experience in municipal and industrial pump markets
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory
  • Knowledge of electrical submersible pumps and control panels
  • Experience in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM systems
  • Experience with PowerBI and ERP software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
