Overview

The Regional Sales Director at Guest Supply is responsible for executing the sales strategy defined by the Vice President of Sales, focusing on achieving regional revenue, volume, and margin targets through effective sales management and team leadership. This role involves ensuring operational excellence and team performance across assigned districts without defining long-term strategy or pricing.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales plans and deliver assigned revenue, volume, and margin targets.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Directly lead, coach, and develop District Sales Managers.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and field coaching to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Translate VP-level strategy into execution plans and expectations for sales teams.
  • Manage execution against assigned budgets and identify performance gaps.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of sales management experience in a B2B environment.
  • Proven record of sales performance and experience leading distributed sales teams.
  • Background in hospitality, OS&E, distribution, or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), analytics tools, and MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
