Overview

The Regional Sales Director for Guest Supply is tasked with executing the sales strategy defined by the Vice President of Sales. This role emphasizes operational excellence, leadership, and effective execution of sales plans across various districts to meet revenue, volume, and margin targets. The Regional Sales Director will lead a team, ensuring alignment with company strategies and fostering a strong sales culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales plans and deliver revenue, volume, and margin targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop District Sales Managers for effective sales execution.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Translate VP-defined strategy into clear execution plans and expectations for sales teams.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and targets, identifying performance gaps and recommending actions.

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of sales management experience in a B2B environment.
  • Prior field sales experience with proven sales performance.
  • Experience leading managers and distributed sales teams.
  • Strong leadership and team-development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly analytical and proficient with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and analytics tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
