Overview

The Regional Sales Director at Guest Supply is responsible for executing the sales strategy set by the Vice President of Sales, focusing on achieving regional revenue, volume, and margin targets through disciplined sales management and effective team leadership. This role emphasizes operational excellence and consistent execution across assigned districts without defining the regional sales strategy or long-term market direction.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales plans, goals, and priorities as defined by the VP of Sales
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed
  • Lead, coach, and develop District Sales Managers
  • Conduct performance evaluations and field coaching
  • Translate VP-level strategy into clear execution plans for districts
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams
  • Manage execution against assigned budgets and targets
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or related field
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales management experience
  • Field sales experience with proven sales performance
  • Experience leading managers and distributed sales teams
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly analytical with decision-making abilities based on data
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service excellence
